Reflection questions for Line Managers
Welcome to MSB's information page for line managers as part of the coaching process for leaders at Nord Anglia schools.
The first coaching session will be spent clarifying goals for the coaching and are set between yourself, the coach and the school leader. You will spend 20 minutes at the beginning of the session contributing your thoughts. The coach and Leader will then conclude the goal-setting after you have left the session.
In advance of the session, it is helpful to reflect on your own role in your colleague's development as well as how they can support the growth of the school.
Please use the questions below as a stimulus for thought and bring your reflections to the first session to help shape the goals for the coaching.
- What positive change would you like to see in the delegate that will better support the school?
- What do they need to do differently to help them to shift or deepen their leadership impact?
- Which aspects of commercial, people or educational leadership does your colleague need support with and what could you do to support them?
